Tie Dye Resurrected

The shirt looks slightly weird in the picture. It's actually a very loose fitting tee with a knot in front! I found it during my closet cleaning the other day, which by the way is still on going :)

Floral Love

After a long hibernation, my floral skirt finally made a come back to help me fight the Monday blue! I just couldn't say enough about how versatile this Free People jacket is, it seems to go well with almost everything.

Girls NOT So Wild

It was my friend's bachelorette party on Sat. Seven girls, a night out in the city, yet there was no drama or craziness, just a ton of chitchatting accompanied with what might be the most potent French martini I've ever had! Oh, actually, we got picked up in a white limo to start the night off, which couldn't have worked out more perfectly. Cameras were clicking, drinks were flowing (maybe just me and the bride-to-be), but it was an absolute blast for everyone.

Free People

I found a few massively on sale Free People pieces in Bloomingdales over the weekend. I just couldn't resist this jacket, with its balloon sleeves and exaggerated relaxed fit, it's the perfect jacket to go over pretty much everything :)

Sorry I haven't done any outfit posts for a while now. Most of my week was consumed by work, both my day time job and my little ebay store. So much more inventories to put up, which is both good and bad I guess. It leaves me virtually no time for anything else, but on the other hand, it really gives me a sense of accomplishment when satisfied customers email me to let me know how much they LOVE their purchases.
Anyhow, going back to the outfit, I actually added a lacey cashmere cami before leaving for work, just to avoid any possible indecent exposures.

Fringe Madness

JJbee just fueled my fringe infatuation by sending me a picture of MK posing in her lovely fringe vest! Ahh....

Ever stylish KM in her what I'm suspecting a vintage fringe vest looking effortlessly chic.

Store Upate

I finally found some time to do a little shopping for my eBay store...woohoo! Now, I just need to put them in the store!

A pair of fabulous Marc by Marc Jacobs high heel oxford...

These Costume National sandals are to die for...

A NOT-SO-SIMPLE white tee by who else? Marc Jacobs of course...

Ok, I saved my favorite for last...a pair of chic Dries Van Noten boyfriend style trouser!

Nike Knickers

This is a random post of my favorite gym wear now a days! Thanks to KK, I now have an unhealthy obsession over knickers, kind of weird isn't it? But I swear these are the most comfortable workout bottoms I've ever wore! And the tanktop is absolutely out of this world! I never thought I'd say this, but I think Nike is kind of cool...

My Wallet Is Grateful

Oh, I've been eyeing THE Carrie belt since SATC came out! Thanks to my little style muse, not only did I get a belt with similar studded design, it carried an extremely humble price tag! My wallet and I will forever be grateful!

By the way, I'm having this crazy obsession with the color royal blue, umm...I'm not exactly sure why, maybe it's because I'm feeling blue? I got this dress from FCUK for less than $30, but none of my accessories seemed to be working until this belt showed up! Now, what would KK say about this outfit? Keeping my fingers crossed, hopefully he will go easy on making fun of my "house on the prairie" dress...

By the way, the Miu Miu inspired skirt is little wrinkled during the shipping, so it doesn't look very puffy right now. I'll have a better picture of it tomorrow :)

I Want...

I'm keeping my eyes pierced for Alpinestars' new street wear collection coming this fall. Not only is the collection ultra cool, its amazingly affordable too! I can possibly pick up a few pieces without cringing at the price tag.

What a perfect weekender bag in super soft leather, properly names Sophia!
Sophia, Sonia, get it? ($85)
Relaxed fitting dress ($95)

My mind is completely occupied with my mom's bday gift, I have about 8 more hours to figure out what I should get her...oh...the joy of being a procrastinator.
By the way, my f21 chiffon tutu skirt has been my outfit savior this week. I wore it with everything from tank tops to tshirts to today's crisp button down shirt...LOL...I just don't have much extra brain power to be more creative I guess.

Super Comfy

I don't have too many thoughts in my head today, maybe its because I'm super comfy in the boyfriend jeans and layers after layers of tank tops and vest? heehee....it's a good way to spend a Thursday!

Everything But Fish

I can't believe my Vena Cava Sea Bass dress is officially here! After gawking at the dress for a whole entire month online, I finally caved in last week and clicked the buy button. As unfriendly as the price tag may be, I'm thoroughly impressed with the cutting, and the way it drapes on my body even with 5 large pockets!
It's called Sea Bass dress because it's inspired by fisherman's wear...LOL...its by no means trendy, but I can see myself living in the dress for this entire summer, thus, cost justified:)

The Fringe Bag

Sorry for being MIAed for the entire long weekend.

I have some good and bad news to report. Drum roll please.....I finally found the fringe bag that Erin Watson was carrying! The good news is, its not vintage, therefore it's actually purchasable! Now comes the bad new, it's by Etro and has a price tag over 3k! Maybe I'd rather it be a vintage, there-is-no-chance-in-hell-that-I-can-find-the-exact-same-one bag....sigh..

Besides my "heartbreaking" or rather "wallet breaking" discovery, we actually found some amazing shoes for CHEAP! Will upload pictures later today.

Ankle Socks

Admittedly, I'm one of the late adopters of the ankle-socks-with-sandals trend, which to be quite frank, was kind of frightening to me at first. But with the outside temperature hitting the record high and the office cooling system working at the top of its capacity, the trend actually comes in handy for days when I know I have to sit through marathon meetings. So I gave it a trial run today along with my vintage inspired floral dress, which I'm hoping, doesn't make me look like a poster child for a bad seventies show....wait, do they even have gladiator sandals back then? Anyways, you get what I'm saying.

Shirtdress

For one reason or another, I always found shirtdresses being extremely unflattering on the body, that is until this season. Most shirtdresses from previous seasons are a little too fitting and long for my taste. But they've came a long way since! The one I discovered last weekend has an awesome babydoll cutting, which I'm happy to report is super easy to pair with anything.
